When making a project written in JBuilder 8 in JBuilder 9, errors that were overlooked in the previous version might show up. Instead of editing your code, you can switch compiler you are using.

My code that compiled fine in JBuilder 8 doesn't compile in JBuilder 9. What can I to to have my build succees without changing my code?

Under Project->Project Properties, select the Build tab. Next, select the Java tab and choose Borlan Make (JBuilder 8) for the compiler option.

Your errors will still be visible int the structure pane and error insight but the build will succeed
