Problem:
What software is required for IntraBuilder to talk with InterBase?
Solution:
IntraBuilder can only talk to InterBase via BDE & SQL-Links.
On your NT web server, you need:
- IntraBuilder
- BDE & SQL-Links driver for InterBase
- InterBase client for Windows (version 4.x or 5.x - doesn't matter)
Configure a BDE alias to connect to the database on your Linux machine over
the network. The SERVERNAME property of the BDE alias is in the format
"server:/path/database.gdb".
