Abstract: Varchar is truncated via the InterSolv ODBC driver
Problem:
When retrieving large varchars (approx. 256+) using the InterSolv ODBC driver, the content
is truncated. (truncation varies with the size of the varchar field)
Solution:
This is a problem in the InterSolv ODBC driver version 3.10.0000. This
driver is not commercially available to the general public. This
problem has been reported to InterSolv.
Workarounds:
1) Use char instead of varchar.
2) Send customer the patch: //ibntsrv/tech_support/ODBC/InterSolv/ibodbc.zip
